GE Vernova and BBWind sign 20th agreement to supply onshore wind turbines to local community windfarms

COPENHAGEN, DENMARK (April 9, 2025) - GE Vernova’s Wind segment announced today that it has signed agreements to supply three of its 6.0 MW-164m* workhorse wind turbines to community wind farms consulted by BBWind. BBWind is a wind farm developer based in Muenster, Germany, consulting on regional community wind projects. This is the 20th agreement that the two companies have signed for projects being developed by BBWind.

wpd selects GE Renewable Energy on three onshore wind projects in Germany

Salzbergen, Germany, February 14, 2023 - GE Renewable Energy announced today that is has been selected by German company wpd to supply 16 onshore wind turbines to three wind farms to be built in Landkreis Uelzen, Niedersachsen, 100km south-east of Hamburg. With a total installed capacity of 88 MW, the three projects will operate GE’s 5.5 MW turbines with a rotor diameter of 158m.
