Meet the leaders of the latest nuclear renaissance

Installed Base CEO

Craig Ranson

With more than 30 years of industry experience, Craig joined GVH in June 2024 from Framatome where he most recently served as Executive Vice President of its North America installed base business.

In this role, he was responsible for the development and delivery of products, services and engineering solutions for nuclear power plants in the U.S. and Canada. His previous roles at the company included chief commercial officer, chief operating officer and Vice President of Component Repair and Replacement Services.

Craig has a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech and has completed the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO) Senior Nuclear Plant Management Course.

Advanced Nuclear CEO

Jason Cooper

Jason joined GVH in 2025 after serving as the President and CEO of the heavy-duty turbine equipment portfolio within GE Vernova's Gas Power business. Jason started with GE in 2022 as Chief Executive Officer for the Onshore Wind North America business. Prior to that he served as Chief Operating Officer for Dematic—part of the KiON Group, and before that he spent 13 years in a variety of roles across the Linde Group, the world’s largest industrial gas company and a leader in global energy markets.

Jason holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, and completed executive education programs at the University of Oxford, UK.

Executive Vice President, Advanced Nuclear

Sean Sexstone

Sean joined GVH in February 2022 from Aecon, where he led Aecon’s nuclear group focused on life extension projects, plant life maintenance projects, decommissioning, and nuclear fabrication.

Sean is responsible for furthering the design progress of the BWRX-300 and Natrium projects, supporting customers, meeting product cost targets to ensure market competitiveness, and developing key partnerships for global small modular reactor (SMR) deployment.

Chief Commercial Officer

Nicole Holmes

Nicole Holmes leads the global sales, marketing, and contracts team for GE Vernova Hitachi Nuclear Energy.  In this role, she heads the team responsible for customer relationships, deal creation, and customer-focused processes, including developing and implementing the business’ commercial strategy.  Nicole is committed to GVH’s mission to provide carbon-free power to the world.

Nicole’s 25+-year energy industry career began in reactor engineering at Duke Energy.  She held positions in engineering and business operations with Duke Energy before joining GE Vernova in 2000.

Nicole earned a B.S. in Nuclear Engineering with highest honors from North Carolina State University and an M.B.A from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is a graduate of GE Vernova’s Lean Six Sigma Program and GE Vernova’s Management Course. She chairs the board for the Strategic Energy Institute at Georgia Tech University and serves on the board of the Cape Fear Salvation Army.
