
Chief Executive Officer, Power
Eric is the Chief Executive Officer of GE Vernova's Power segment, which provides a wide-range of industry-leading power generation options including: gas turbines, steam turbines, advanced, small modular reactors and hydroelectric solutions to a host of traditional and non-traditional customers globally.
Eric has more than 25 years of GE Vernova experience. Since joining GE Vernova in 2001 as a plant chemist, he has held a variety of commercial and operations leadership roles across products, services and projects.
In recent years, he served as the President & CEO of our Gas Power business, North America Region General Manager for Power Services, General Manager for Multiyear Agreement sales, and General Manager of Gas Plant Solutions for GE Vernova’s Power Services business. In 2017, he was named Commercial Leader for Power Services.
In 2022, Eric was named the President & CEO of the Gas Power business after serving for four years as CEO of GE Vernova's Gas Power business in the Americas. He was responsible for selling new units and services, servicing equipment and executing projects. He also served as the CEO of the global $4B Heavy Duty Gas Turbine Equipment business, overseeing commercial operations through project execution to deliver gas power generation across the globe.
Eric is involved in the Atlanta community, where he is based, serving on the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Indiana University and an MBA from Georgia State University.

President & CEO, Gas Power, EMEA
Joe is President and CEO of GE Vernova's Gas Power business in the Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) regions.
Joe took on his current responsibilities in January 2021. In this role, Joe is responsible for driving the evolution of Gas Power across EMEA to serve our customers better; streamline our business by decreasing variations and driving standard operating procedures among regions, business lines and fulfillment centers; and offering opportunities for cross-regional learning and collaboration among our people.
Joe is a proven senior leader, starting his GE Vernova career in 1997 as the general manager for GE Vernova’s Power Controls business in Cairo, Egypt. Since then, Joe took on increasing responsibilities within several GE Vernova energy businesses in various geographies across Africa, India and the Middle East.
In July 2010, Joe was appointed a vice president and officer of General Electric Company.
Joe holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Syracuse University in New York, USA.

Vice President, Human Resources
Sirje Deringer is a Human Resources professional with two decades of experience at GE in a multitude of diverse HR roles across the company. Sirje spent a significant part of her career in the Energy businesses, including Wind and Gas Power, and graduated from GE’s Human Resources Leadership Program.
Her career is marked by leadership roles that have driven HR strategy and organizational development throughout various business cycles. She has built high performing team cultures, talent pipelines for niche markets and skills, and successfully navigated a complex labor relations and union landscape.
As the HR Leader for GE Vernova`s Power Segment, Sirje is responsible for developing and executing the human resource strategy in alignment with the company’s business plan and strategic direction for the Gas Power, Nuclear and Hydro business. Sirje’s HR team is enabling the business to deliver in a very dynamic market cycle with very specific capacity and capability needs while also delivering on initiatives that support GE Vernova’s key HR priorities.
In her previous role as HR leader for GE Vernova’s Electrification Software business, she was instrumental in supporting the evolution of the business, talent and organizational strategy.
Sirje earned a “Diplom-Kauffrau” German University Degree from University of Cologne, Germany, and a Master in International Management and Finance from Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi, Milan, Italy. She also holds a Certified Director for Board Effectiveness from University of St. Gallen (HSG), Switzerland.
Sirje has Estonian roots, is native in German, fluent in English, and proficient in French. She recently moved with her family from Switzerland to Boston, MA, where they enjoy to discover the magic of New England.

Vice President & CEO, Gas Power Aeroderivatives
Ceci Giovanelli is Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of GE Vernova’s Gas Power Aeroderivative business line. She is responsible for global strategy and execution across the full product and service lifecycle, with a focus on customer outcomes, operational excellence, and long-term growth.
Since joining GE in 2009, Ceci has built a career defined by leadership through change, business transformation, and operational excellence. Her experience spans finance, project execution, and enterprise transformation.
Prior to this role, Ceci held senior positions across GE Vernova, including Chief Financial Officer of the Gas Power business and GE Vernova FP&A Leader through the company’s launch as an independent company in 2024. Her background includes M&A and operational leadership across the Wind business. and finance and operational roles in the Heavy Duty Gas Turbines new units organization. She began her career at GE through the Financial Leadership Program (FMP) and later spent five years on the GE Corporate Audit Staff (CAS).
Ceci holds a Bachelor of Science in Law and Business Administration from Bocconi University and a dual-degree Master of Science in International Management from Fudan University and Bocconi University. She splits her time between Houston, Texas, and Italy.

Vice President and CEO, Gas Power Global Services
Steve leads GE Vernova's Gas Power business Global Services organization. Global Services encompasses teams across Contractual Services, Transactional Services, Upgrades and Field Services, together delivering value for Gas Power’s existing Heavy Duty Gas Turbine installed base as well as New Unit opportunities.
Steve was appointed to his current role in April 2023 after three years of leading Gas Power’s Contractual Services Business, overseeing the global contractual services portfolio. The Contractual Services Business is focused on strategic long-term customer partnerships which deliver differentiated lifecycle outcomes for our customers in a dynamic energy marketplace.
Steve is a proven leader with 20 years of supply chain, services and operations experience spanning automotive, aviation, transportation, and energy industries. Throughout his career he has developed significant global expertise across Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Russia/CIS. Prior to joining GE Vernova's Gas Power business, Steve spent 10 years with GE Vernova's Transportation business, holding multiple senior leadership roles as Quality leader, International Services leader, Americas Services leader and most recently as Chief Integration Officer overseeing the divesture and merger of GE Vernova’s Transportation business to Wabtec Corporation.
Steve attended Miami University, where he earned a B.S degree in Operations Management. He also holds an M.B.A. degree in Operations/Production Management from Oakland University. Steve resides in Atlanta with his wife and son.

CEO, Gas Power Heavy Duty New Units
Clive Nickolay is the CEO of GE Vernova Gas Power’s Heavy Duty New Units business.
Clive is responsible for driving the global strategic plan and execution of the Heavy Duty Gas Turbine New Units business. In this role, he manages a rapidly growing, multi-billion dollar global business line, overseeing commercial operations from initiation to project execution and delivering industry-leading gas power generation.
He brings more than 30 years of expertise in the energy industry with specific experience in district energy, combined heat and power and the modular, fast-power space. Previously, Clive led the Aeroderivative business in Gas Power where he was responsible for driving the global strategic plan and execution across the full product and service lifecycle. He has held senior leadership positions at Clearway Energy, NRG Energy, Solar Turbines and Caterpillar Inc. where he has a track record of driving top line growth with improved profitability.
Clive holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial & Business Systems from De Montfort University, Leicester, UK.

President & CEO, Asia Pacific
President & CEO, GE VERNOVA ASEAN & ANP
Ramesh is President and CEO of GE Vernova's Gas Power business in the Asia region.
Ramesh was named to his current position in Gas Power in 2019. In this role, Ramesh is responsible for strengthening Gas Power’s presence in the region by building on the strong relationships with our customers, partners and key stakeholders in the energy sector across more than 15 countries. In 2020, Ramesh expanded his role to include regional leadership for ASEAN & ANP (Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea) for GE Vernova.
Ramesh brings more than 30 years of experience in the energy industry having begun his career in 1989 with Tenaga Nasional in Malaysia as a Gas Turbine maintenance engineer. He then joined GE Vernova as a field engineer in 1994 with global assignments in Latin America, North Asia and Southeast Asia. Over the next 20+ years in GE Vernova, Ramesh took on roles of increasing responsibilities with various GE Vernova energy businesses that cover Commercial, Operations and Projects. These also include global leadership roles at GE Vernova's power business headquarters in Atlanta, US and Baden, Switzerland respectively.
Ramesh was born in Johor, Malaysia and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Technology Malaysia.
