The Woodward Governor Company legacy hydro equipment

In 2000, Nexus Controls (now GE Vernova) purchased the entire hydroelectric power plant business from the Woodward Governor Company—including hydroelectric generators, mechanical control solutions, and dynamic controls solutions.

Consequently, GE Vernova is the sole legal owner of all legacy Woodward Governor hydro intellectual property (IP), data, and original engineering drawings. GE Vernova can maintain, service, repair, or replace any damaged or worn-out OEM mechanical equipment.
