Overview

Practical and efficient 7F capacity upgrade options

Increase capacity and capability with a variety of 7F upgrades ranging from software updates to full flange-to-flange (F2F) hardware overhauls. Several upgrades can be combined for incremental improvement. Equip your operators to extract more power, improve performance, and extend asset life. Whether you operate a simple-cycle or a combined-cycle plant, there are upgrade solutions tailored to your operations, constraints, and future energy needs.

Steam upgrades for additional capacity

Advanced Steam Path (ASP)

Up to 10-15%*

increase in ST output

Up to 0.7%

combined-cycle heat rate improvement

The ASP upgrade to the D11 steam turbine replaces multiple internal components. Originally developed to address reliability, the ASP upgrade also enhances performance with up to 10-15% increase in steam turbine output and approximately 0.7% improvement in combined-cycle heat rate. In addition, the upgrade can enable up to 20-day reduction in outage duration and resets the life on all new components.

*Cases sized for increased steam flow can be on the higher end of output.
